Megan Lian is a Los Angeles based Costume Designer born and raised in the LA area. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in 2007. Shortly thereafter she fell in love with costume design at LA City College’s Theater Academy. Since starting her career in costume design, she has accrued dozens of film and television credits, which include: Cover Versions starring Drake Bell, Katie Cassidy and Debby Ryan, Be the Light with Cara Santana and Malcom Goodwin, and The Bellman starring Adam Ray and Thomas Lennon.
In the last year, Megan was the Costume Designer for the film Balloon Animal (Starring Katherine Wadell) and was an Assistant Costume Designer on the television shows Kenan S1 & S2 (NBC) and Power Book II: Ghost (Starz). Other recently completed work includes commercial projects and music videos, namely the MTV VMA nominated All Time Low “Some Kind of Disaster” video.

In her spare time she enjoys decorating her home and traveling. She is a an avid supporter of Los Angeles Theatre and is frequent patron of Mark Taper and Ahmanson theaters, to name a few.

Megan is a Member of CDG local 892 in Los Angeles and in 2021 joined United Scenic Artist local 829 in New York.
