Megan Lian is a Los Angeles based Costume Designer born and raised in the Los Angeles area. She graduated from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising in Los Angeles with a degree in Product Development. Shortly after she enrolled in Los Angeles City College’s Theatre Academy and fell in love with Costume Design.

Since 2012, Megan has worked on dozens of productions including projects for: Ford, Kmart, Disney, Dreamworks, Facebook, Fila, JC Penney, Hulu, Courtyard Marriott, NFL, Fullscreen, AT&T and Subway to name a few. She has worked with such talent as Tony Hale, Milo Ventimiglia, Alysia Reiner, Chloë Grace Moretz, Madeline Brewer, Ben Schwartz, and Josh Duhamel.

In 2017 she had the opportunity to design a season of the Awesomeness series Guidance, starring Monique Coleman of High School Musical and directed by Julian Higgins. Other works include Todd Berger’s Liberty Crossing, produced by Mason Novick (Juno, 500 Days of Summer).

In addition to her work on screen, Megan does Costume Designing for youth productions at Upstage Theater Schools. Upstage provides year round and summer day-camp performing arts education for kids. Over the past few years she has created costumes for productions of Peter Pan, 101 Dalmatians, and Singing in the Rain.

In her spare time she enjoys decorating her home and traveling. She is a an avid supporter of Los Angeles Theatre and is frequent patron of Mark Taper and Ahmanson theaters, to name a few.

This year Megan looks forward to seeing her work on the festival scene including the Palm Springs Film Festival and Hollywood Reel Independent Festival.
